Both sides of the
table covered
When Gary Delleverson walked into the room where Metro-North
and the ACRE were conducting contract negotiations, what
did he see? On one side of the table sat Ray Burney and
the M-N negotiating team, on the other side of the table
sat Mike Doyle and Tony Bottalico.
What was the common denominator among all parties involved?
They all receive salaries from the MTA. The MTA had people
on both sides of the bargaining table negotiating this contract.
Where would their interests lie?
Were Mike and Tony totally free from any conflicts
of interest?
The MTA has our ACRE officers on the payroll and the ACRE
membership is being taken for a ride.
