Where is the ACRE Pension Plan Document?

About nine months have passed since ACRE's historic contract was ratified. So how come ACRE members still do not have a plan document to review?

In the promotion literature distributed by ACRE for the contract vote, ACRE informed their membership that they would receive the Metro-North management pension plan except for three minor details. The campaign material contained no reference to any health and welfare concerns. If this were true, as ACRE stated in their promotion literature, why is it necessary to engage in question and answer sessions with the MTA on health and welfare issues and create a different plan document? Wouldn't the management plan document have sufficed, if this were truly the pension plan, which ACRE members would receive? ACRE continually announces they are working diligently on the health and welfare issues with the MTA. Again, why is this necessary if ACRE members were actually going to receive the management pension plan as advertised?

By now everyone is aware that the Metro-North Coalition has rejected the ACRE contract and each union has filed for mediation with the National Mediation Board. The Coalition's attempts to secure a fair contract for their collective membership possibly could have a beneficial spillover effect for the ACRE membership. Currently ACRE is just wasting time as it plods along with the MTA to resolve health and welfare issues, that should have not had to been addressed at all.

Even if ACRE had delivered the management pension plan as promised, they overpaid for the deal they struck with the MTA.
