Dear Brother Jim:

As I stated at the Union Meeting, I receive my salary based upon the By-laws. That salary and method of distribution has not substantially changed from the pay I received when I was General Chairman under the BLE. The General Chairman controls the General Committee fund and I receive four days a month compensation from the General Committee. The same compensation I received for eight years under the BLE (10 days from the Division and 4 days from the General Committee). My compensation under the BLE was the basis the Bylaws Committee used to establish my compensation under ACRE. I will gladly engage in any further discussion regarding any salaries of any union officers at our monthly union meeting.

You continue to question our integrity by implying that we garner compensation that we are not authorized to receive. I resent your allegations and will happily respond to any legitimate questions of this nature in an appropriate forum. I will not, however, respond to every unsubstantiated allegation on the internet. I think that it is hightime you showed up at a union meeting and debated these and other allegations that you have put forth. You sat silent at the last meeting while others posed questions for the officers to answer and you had no questions for me when I offered to answer any questions that you had when deadheading on the headend to Stamford a few short weeks ago.

Again James, I will gladly respond to you at the union meeting on any issues you raise but I will not engage in a back and forth internet dialogue unless the questions pertain to legitimate issues and not unsubstantiated allegations. You have the MTAcre website for all that nonsense.

Fraternally yours,

Michael Doyle
General Chairman
