Our Organization has received a response from the UTU regarding our demand that they retract the libelous statements made about our officers and organization in a letter from Art May, dated April 30, 2005.

The UTU International legal department, for reasons that should be obvious, makes no effort to validate the libelous comments in their letter. Instead they claim that the Art May/UTU letter containing allegations of improprieties on the part of our officers was never circulated to our members but was simply a draft .

In light of the serious difficulties we continue to face with identity theft, no one, including Art May and the UTU should be in possession of our address list.

We ask that our members please reply back to this e-mail if they received the Art May/UTU letter. Your reply can either be sent to pholland5@aol.com or called into our union office (212) 599-5856.
