Most
of the content in Paul Holland's and Jeff Aveis's recent
postings on the ACRE website has been previously addressed
in several letters, which are available upon request. Some
points of reference are:
It
is interesting that ACRE has failed to respond to several
recent issues offered for information to ACRE members.
- No response to
the IBEW Secretary/Treasures letter addressed to Bottalico
concerning the sick time abuse policy. Mr. Davidson's
letter was quite informative.
- No information
distributed to the ACRE membership concerning ACRE's sidebar
letter detailing an agreement for the compensation for
ACRE officers marking off for union business. Why did
ACRE fail to inform its members or include this sidebar
letter in their ratification package?
- No information
or rebuttal regarding how this agreement has been applied.
- Is the Company
actually reimbursed for union business mark offs?
- If any reimbursements
are forwarded, is it truly at “no cost to Metro-North”.
- If ACRE is reimbursing
Metro-North, when did this practice commence?
Referring
to some information circulated about the issue as “lies,
slander or libel” (documentation clearly indicates it is
not) is not an answer to the issues merits.
