On
Wednesday June 15 around 2:55 pm Conductor Bob Marino and
Engineer Jim Ekberg were in the GCT sign in room by Track
41. ACRE officer Paul Holland entered the room said hello
and walked over to the bulletin board. Paul posted some
information on the bulletin board, then walked over and
glanced at the bids and awards, then left. After I was finished
copying down my Fourth of July schedule, I walked over to
read what Paul had posted. The first item was a sick time
collection letter for Conductor George Moll. The
other item was a letter written on UTU letterhead. Upon
the reading and inspection of this letter, which was addressed
to Art May and signed by International President Paul Thomas,
the contents of this letter was a fraud.
Some
interesting questions arise out of Paul's posting of this
fraudulent and libelous UTU letter:
Was Paul involved in the creation of this letter?
Why would Paul go around and post such a letter on Metro-North
property.
Why didn't Paul as the administrator of ACRE's web site,
post it there?
Why didn't Paul post this letter on ACRE bulletin boards?
Was Paul also involved in the creation and distribution
of the “Who wants to be a union Rep” letter.
In an e-mail letter to the ACRE membership on June 7, Paul
states - speaking about the UTU and BLE&T “on a personal
level as much as I hate them”, Paul, is this the reason
that drove you to perform such a childish act and create
and distribute this fraudulent UTU letter?
Is this what ACRE officers have to do all day long, sit
around the ACRE office and produce fraudulent or alter documents
and then distribute and post them on MTA Metro-North property?
Is this the type of behavior that is becoming of ACRE officers?
Paul who and what gives you the right to post such a letter?
What other type(s) of fraudulent letters have ACRE officers
created?
Why do ACRE officers intentionally mislead and interfere
with the ACRE membership during an A-card campaign?
Hopefully with ACRE's “show your ACRE card and save program”,
you have some legal attorneys on board. I would hate to
wonder the consequences if the UTU International, Paul Thomas
and Art May decided to bring legal action against you and
hold you accountable for the production and distribution
of this fraudulent and libelous letter. Not to mention a
possible investigation and discipline by MTA Metro-North.
If
I left out any details or some interesting questions you
may need to answer, please feel free to look up run E-110
and meet me.
Not
at all surprised by the actions of ACRE officers,
James
W. Ekberg
