You must trust me, and I trust Gary “D”

Doyle boasts frequently “you must trust the officers you elect”. Doyle also states that during contract negotiations you have to trust the guy on the other side of the table. Without this mutual trust, you could never accomplish anything during contract negotiations. Doyle states that Gary “D” has never lied to him. Apparently Gary “D” keeps valuable information from Mike Doyle and Tony Bottalico. Why did Gary “D” sign a 55/10 with the LIRR for their MTA Pension Plan and then turn around and sign a 55/20 with ACRE for their MTA Pension Plan? It would appear that Mike's philosophy of trust is flawed and does not fare too well during contract negotiations. Now every ACRE member has to wonder what other issues, benefits and/or contract inequities Gary “D” forgot to inform Mike Doyle and Tony Bottalico about during their contract negotiations.

The 55/10 contract inequity concerning the requirement for pre-medical insurance has once again been exposed and confirmed through the efforts of the Metro-North Labor Coalition during their marathon contract negotiations with the MTA, ACRE members would trust their elected officers to immediately correct this situation with Gary “D” with out any resistance or further givebacks. A simple and quick sidebar agreement, which Bottalico and Doyle are famous for, could easily rectify this contractual oversight.

I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for this sidebar agreement.
