NOTICE

To all ACRE and Metro-North Coalition members: Please call or write your Assembly person and State Senators and request them to co-sponsor and support Bill A9023 in the Assembly and Bill S4722 in the Senate. These two Bills prohibit the MTA, the ability to compensate ACRE officers from public funds.

Strike a blow for unionism and a blow against the special interests of ACRE, the MTA and Metro-North. To accomplish this, you must either call or write to your representatives. You can find your local representatives phone numbers and their address in your local phone book. They need to hear from all of us concerning these bills.

A sample letter would contain the following information:

Dear (Senator or Assembly person):

I am a constituent of yours. I would like your co-endorsement of Bill;(Senator would be S4722, Assembly person would be A9023). This bill would deny the MTA the ability to compensate ACRE officers from public funds. This compensation is in violation of the Railway Labor Act. I thank you for your support.

If you want to level the playing field of all unions on MTA Metro-North and throughout the entire Railroad industry, you need to call or write to your Senator and Assembly person to sponsor and support this legislation.
